Guest Post on Charlie Cochet’s blog, New art, Do Not Taunt Mother Nature and I Am Off To Yaoi-land!

First and foremost, I have a guest post over on Charlie Cochet’s blog today!!  I talk about how I got started putting my writing out for the public to see and where the ideas for Choices came from.  There is a blurb and excerpt and art! Go check it out and leave a comment!

THERE IS NEW ART!!! My hubby has done beautiful lineart for cards that I plan to give out at yaoi-con advertising my new book.  I have colored the line art and included it here (it is also on Charlie’s blog post) for you!  We have also posted it over on y!gallery.  (Please note, you must be 18 and you must register for a free account to view it!)  This is Teman and Bathasar from Choices.

Next, do you remember last week, how I complained that fall hadn’t really shown up yet? Well, Mother Nature does not like to be told what to do.  Shortly after I posted that, the temperatures here in hell East Texas dropped from its almost-summer-90’s to the 50’s! I kid you not, the high on Saturday was 55! And while it has warmed up a bit since, it still hasn’t gone back to the same temperatures.  Just goes to show, we should not be taunting the Happy Fun Mother Nature!  I think from now on, I shall keep my complaints to myself.  The temps felt lovely, but we weren’t expecting or ready for them. Alas, they’re gone now.  Hopefully, not for long.

Also, tomorrow (today, for some of you, but it is still Wednesday in my neck of the woods) I leave for Yaoi-con!!  I am SO excited!! I will definitely write a nice, long blog post next week with my adventures in yaoi-land, along with a few pictures and links to many, many more.  I am taking my daughter’s DSLR Canon EOS Rebel XTI camera with me, along with the standard and telephoto lenses and plan to fill the compact flash card in it.  I’m not sure I’ll succeed, on high quality it holds thousands of pictures, but we’ll see. Who knows?

It took me quite a while to put together all the bits of my cosplay, but I am very excited about it.  The wig was a nightmare (Kotetsu Hagane. I couldn’t have gone simple for my first real cosplay? Nooooo, not me!), but with a heaping helping of Got2B products, I managed to tame the spikes and I think it looks pretty good.  You’ll have to be the judge for me! Let me know after I post the pictures.

Please also, do not forget that A.F. Henley will be on my blog next week to talk about his upcoming book Inflori!

And with that, I am on my way! Take care, have a great weekend and I look forward to posting my adventures next week!

Thanks for reading!
